Complete-line engineering

Define the final fraction first. Build the line backwards.

End-of-life vehicle (ELV) bodies are a complex mix of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, rubber, and glass. Directly smelting these bulky shells is inefficient and costly. Our heavy-duty shredding and separation systems are engineered to aggressively process car shells and bales, liberating entrapped contaminants and delivering clean, high-density scrap metal. Through a continuous, automated route, we help you maximize metal recovery rates, reduce landfill waste, and increase the value of your recycled materials.

The final product changes the complete line.

01

High-Density Steel Scrap

The primary output is clean, high-density ferrous scrap. After shredding and magnetic separation, the steel is free of loose contaminants, making it ideal for direct smelting in electric arc furnaces (EAF).

Ferrous
02

Recovered Aluminum & Copper

Aluminum, copper, and brass are efficiently separated using eddy current separators and air classifiers. These high-value non-ferrous metals are cleanly recovered for direct recycling and reuse.

Non-Ferrous
03

Automotive Shredder Residue (ASR)

The remaining light fraction, known as Automotive Shredder Residue (ASR), consists of plastics, rubber, and textiles. This material can be further processed into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) or safely disposed of.

One continuous route from waste to separated output.

01

Heavy-Duty Feeding

Bulky car shells and bales are loaded into the system using grab cranes or heavy-duty chain conveyors. The feeding process is precisely controlled to ensure a steady and continuous flow into the shredder.

02

High-Torque Shredding

Equipped with robust, wear-resistant hammers or cutters, our shredders aggressively reduce car shells into uniform, manageable pieces. This step effectively liberates embedded metals from plastics, rubber, and glass.

03

Magnetic & Eddy Current Separation

The crushed material passes through strong magnetic separators to extract ferrous metals. An eddy current separator then recovers non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper, while air classifiers remove lightweight fluff (ASR).

04

Final Handling & Recovery

The separated high-purity ferrous and non-ferrous fractions are transported to storage or baling stations. Clean metals are stockpiled for recycling, while ASR is collected for further processing or safe disposal.

Frequently asked questions

Clarify the project before defining equipment.

What should I confirm about Scrap metal?

Confirm metal composition, thickness, dimensions and downstream recovery requirements.

How is the equipment or process selected?

Selection considers material form and composition, required capacity, contamination, operating hours and the downstream result. A material review is needed before confirming a configuration.

Can the final output be specified?

Define the size or fraction required by the next process. Cutter geometry, any sizing or separation stages, feeding and material behavior must be considered together.

What information should I send first?

Send representative material photos, dimensions, hourly capacity, required output, site constraints and destination country.

Build the right process

Tell us your material, capacity and required final product.
