Complete-line engineering
Define the final fraction first. Build the line backwards.
Bulky waste—ranging from discarded sofas and mattresses to wooden furniture—is notoriously difficult to handle due to its large volume and mixed composition. Our customized processing lines are engineered to maximize volume reduction and resource recovery. By analyzing your target output (RDF, scrap metal, or inert fines), we design a continuous, automated route to turn complex bulky waste into high-value secondary resources.

The final product changes the complete line.
01
High-Purity Scrap Metal
Ferrous metals, such as sofa springs, bed frames, and metal fittings, are efficiently extracted by overband magnetic separators. The recovered metal is clean and ready for direct smelting, providing immediate economic value.
Metal02
High-Calorific-Value RDF Fluff
Textiles, foam, leather, and plastics are shredded and air-classified into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF). This high-calorific fluff is an ideal alternative fuel for cement kilns and power plants.
RDF03
Clean Inert Residue
After the recovery of metals and combustible materials, the remaining inert substances (such as sand, glass, and stones) are screened out. This clean residue can be safely landfilled or used for brick manufacturing.
Inert Fines
Typical process architecture
One continuous route from bulky waste to separated output.
01
Heavy-Duty Feeding
Bulky waste is loaded into the system using a grab crane or forklift. A heavy-duty chain conveyor ensures a stable and continuous feed of irregular materials into the shredder.
02
Primary Shredding
The core of the system is a high-torque twin-shaft shredder. It aggressively rips open and reduces large items like sofas and mattresses into manageable, uniform pieces, effectively liberating the mixed materials.
03
Metal & Air Separation
The shredded material passes under a strong magnetic separator to extract iron and steel. Immediately following, an air classifier separates lightweight textiles and foams (RDF) from heavy inert residues.
04
Final Handling & Storage
The separated streams are transported to designated storage areas. Metals are baled, RDF is stockpiled for fuel use, and inert fines are collected for disposal or further recycling.

Define the project brief
Targets that guide the engineering.
Capacity, final fractions and supply scope are confirmed for the actual feedstock and downstream process.
Confirm the size and composition of furniture, mattresses and other bulky items, including embedded metal.
How is the equipment or process selected?
Selection considers material form and composition, required capacity, contamination, operating hours and the downstream result. A material review is needed before confirming a configuration.
Can the final output be specified?
Define the size or fraction required by the next process. Cutter geometry, any sizing or separation stages, feeding and material behavior must be considered together.
What information should I send first?
Send representative material photos, dimensions, hourly capacity, required output, site constraints and destination country.
